The warm words in the joint announcement by the Olympic Federations and the Hellenic Paralympic Committee fill me with emotion and gratitude for our productive cooperation over four years and recognition of the results of our reform policies.

The way was not easy. But through hard daily work we have tried and achieved our common goal: constantly growing the sport family, making Greek sport more extroverted, brighter and open to society and the new generation on the international stage.

Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your kind words! Together we did it, together we took our sport to a higher level!

I wish that we continue to fight together for a better sport that is worthy of our country’s history. Let’s fight our battles together and I count you by my side – count me by your side always – in what is to come in the future.

Together we will also win the crucial national battle ahead, so that on June 25th we can present an independent, strong government with Kyriakos Mitsotakis as Prime Minister. So that our Greece and its sport continue to walk the path of stability and development!”, Mr Avgenakis pointed this out.
