In this first phase of the advance payment of EUR 31 million, EUR 20,986,471.77 will be distributed, which is distributed as follows:
A. NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS (26% of the total)
1. National women’s football 3% (from € 48,050 per team)
A1 women basketball 3% (from € 72,075 per team)
A1 women’s volleyball 3% (from € 61,778.75 per team)
Men’s A1 Polo 3.5% (from € 63,065.63 per team)

A ‘National indoor soccer men 1.5% (from € 36,037.5 per team)
DG Men’s National Football Category 2.5% (from € 8,898.15 per team)
It is worth remembering that the total amount for each category, divided equally among all participating groups, is calculated on the participation of at least 12 groups. If fewer than 12 teams take part, the category receives a proportionately reduced amount according to the number of participating teams (e.g. with nine teams it receives 9/12 of the amount due).
In addition, 7% of the amount corresponding to each amateur category is paid for the organization of the tournaments in the respective federation, provided that the federation has responded by submitting the required data to the “Hilon” evaluation system.
Thus, they are paid to
Ground floor, € 65,100
EOPE, € 65,100
, € 141,050
, € 141,050
B. AMATEUR CLUBS (35% of the total amount)
When calculating the amount received from each amateur club with a minimum base amount of € 1,600, the following criteria are taken into account:
The number of sports that he engages in and for which he has received special sporting recognition from the GGA (50 points for each sport).
The number of coaches he has hired, as indicated in the electronic register of sports clubs (25 points for each coach).
The number of athletes registered in the club, as indicated in the electronic register of sports clubs. In any case, the number of athletes per registered trainer must not exceed 50 (1 unit for each athlete).
The annual expenditure of the club as reflected in the report given in the electronic register of sports clubs (0.001 unit per euro expenditure).
After adding up the number of units of all beneficiary clubs, the total amount is divided by the total amount corresponding to the amateur clubs, so that the value of one unit results. Then the value that results from the split is multiplied by the units of each association to get the total amount it receives.
C. EUROPEAN EVENTS (9% of the total)
The calculation of the amount that the beneficiary groups who participated in European competitions this year will receive is based on the points accumulated as follows:
European competitions are divided into three (3) capacity categories:
1st category (Champions League, Champions Cup, Euroleague, etc.).
2nd category (European Cup, Cup winners, etc.)
3rd category are other European events.
With their participation, each group automatically receives:
10 points for the 1st category
08 units for the 2nd category
06 units for the 3rd category
These leagues (e.g. First Women’s National, Indoor Football) are only allowed to take part in one European event and are classified in the 3rd category with only one representative.
For every game in which the team takes part, regardless of the organization, it collects an additional point.
Depending on the points that each group collects, the corresponding amount will be calculated on the total amount corresponding to the respective category. After the units of all groups have been added, they are divided by the total amount corresponding to the category, so that the value of one unit is obtained from the split. Then the amount resulting as a unit value is multiplied by the units of each group to get the amount due to them.
And because the European Championships and the participation of some of our teams continue, 86% of the total amount of € 2,790,000 (€ 2.4 million) has now been paid out and the remaining 14% with the final valuation each will be paid out at the end of the current racing season.
Following this, the base of € 1,600 was paid out by the 4,808 beneficiaries to 1,957 unions (40.7%) while
2,191 unions (45.57%) receive between € 1,601-3,000
376 unions (7.82%) receive between € 3,001-5,000
127 unions (2.64%) receive € 5,001-10,000

17 unions (0.36%) receive € 25,001-50,000
37 unions (0.77%) receive € 50,000-100,000
10 unions (0.21%) receive € 100,001-250,000

The total of 9.3 million euros, which corresponds to our national teams in their respective associations, will be allocated in the coming weeks as soon as the transmission of their required data to “Chilonas” has been completed.
When calculating the amount received, the following criteria are taken into account:
Awards of the national team (1 point for every centimeter in the evaluation, based on the awards from the “Chilon” evaluation system)
Expenditures of each association for its national teams (0.001 points for every euro of expenditure, as shown in the report submitted).
For the national soccer teams (EPO), basketball (EEC), volleyball (EOPE), polo (KOE) and handball (OHE) the corresponding amount increases by 10%.
The national teams of the Olympic Federations are allocated 75% of the amount corresponding to the category, the national teams of the non-Olympic Federations 10% and the Paralympic Federations 5% of the national teams.
€ 465,000 (5% for pre-Olympic preparation) has already been paid to the Hellenic Olympic Committee.
€ 465,000 (5% for Paralympic preparation) has already been paid to the Hellenic Paralympic Committee).
In addition, they will be paid from 77,500 euros to PAE Anagennisi Karditsa, PAE Herodotos and PAE Kifissia, who were promoted to Super League 2 by the amateurs C’Ethniki this season and are not among the current beneficiaries of amateur sport, but did not receive the Corresponding advance of all AAEs months ago (total advance of € 31 million in professional sport).
Deputy Sports Minister Lefteris Avgenakis emphasized: “Our sports reform focuses on the development cell, practical and continuous support of amateur clubs and athletes, and I thank Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and the financial staff for this opportunity.”
“We take care of the foundations of our sports building every day, mass sports, athletes, healthy people and the hundreds of thousands of parents who put their trust in their children in sports clubs every day. And that is proven by the concrete funding of 31 million euros, which “promotes development, since half of the money paid is invested in the improvement of facilities and old-age infrastructures, while at the same time the money that has been donated to Greek sport in the last 12 months, will be increased to 100 million euros. ” .
In conclusion, Mr Avgenakis pointed out that “The vast majority of the sports family has shown admirable discipline – especially in sport – in the application of the rules and measures in the fight against the pandemic over the past two years. And she deserves congratulations.
I am sure that in this struggle that we are waging these days, he will do the same in the coming weeks, continuing strict adherence to health protocols and convincing anyone – still – hesitant to get vaccinated.
The only winning tactic is vaccines. To make our everyday life 100% again as quickly as possible. “
