Women’s handball: PAOK is champion again

PAOK prevailed 26:25 in the third final of the OFN IONIA championship, winning the title for the 5th time in its history in women’s handball.

The 5th championship and the 4th double in a row in its history in women’s handball was won by PAOK Mateco, who defeated OFN Ionia 3-0 in the final of the A1 Women.

“Dikefalos” from the north also won the championship after the cup in Chalkida and defeated OFNI in the 3rd final in “House of Handball” with 26:25.

The Thessaloniki team with this trophy reached a total of 11 in women’s handball (6 cups, 5 championships), all after 2013.

International playmaker Maria Hatziparasidou has been named A1 Women’s MVP following a media vote.

The awards were made on behalf of OHE by the board member. and President of ESCHTH Dimitris Saoulidis and the President of DEP/OHE Andreas Moukios.
