Finally, Alexis Albanos from AEK
Alexis Albanos is a thing of the past from the AEK handball team as the cooperation between both sides was ended by mutual agreement.
Alexis Albanos will no longer sit on the AEK bench in handball, as the amateur AEK has announced the conclusion of its collaboration with the 43-year-old technician. He is now looking for a new coach and will temporarily work with the coach of the women’s handball team, Stelios Seirekidis.
The amateur AEK’s announcement states in detail: “AEK announces the mutual termination of its collaboration with Alexis Albanos.
Alexis Albanos took over the management of AEK’s first team in May 2022 and led the “Union” to the top of the Handball Premier last season, while previously he was successful in the infrastructure departments and won titles and awards with the youth team.
He will always be a brilliant part of AEK history, not only as a player but also as a coach. The management of AEK and the entire family of “Dikephalos” would like to thank Alexis Albanos for his valuable contribution and at the same time wish him much success in continuing his career.
Alexis, see you soon!“.
