AEK-Olympiakos was postponed due to the lack of a venue following the closure of OAKA
The match between AEK and Olympiacos for the Handball Premier was postponed because no other stadium could be found after the closure of OAKA.
The game between AEK and Olympiakos Piraeus on Wednesday (October 4th) for the handball premiership has been postponed. The reason for this is that after the closure of OAKA, the Union was unable to find a new headquarters due to a problem with the stability of the Calatrava roof.

“In its letter to the AEK and Olympiacos SFF unions, the OCHE Championship Administrative Committee states the following:
“Mister President,
Following the latest developments regarding the OAKA facilities, which include the room “G. Kassimatis”, the planned game of the 3rd round of the Handball Premier AEK – Olympiacos SFP on Wednesday, October 4th, 2023 at 7:30 p.m. / Room “G.Kassimatis” is postponed (based on Article 29 of the OCE competition regulations)
It will be reassigned as soon as possible and you will be notified with a new one our document”.
