The Handball Premier continued with five of the six games on Saturday afternoon (October 21st) as the PAOK game with European commitments was postponed.

The hosts were particularly competitive and took advantage of Olympiacos’ tiredness after the two European Cup games during the week (Saturday-Wednesday).

Continued victories for AEK
AEK continued its winning streak in the Handball Premier Championship on matchday 5, winning 30-23 against Bianco Monte Drama at KG Byron.
The drama team was very competitive until the 20th minute (9-10), but then Union came away with a partial score of 8-1 with +6 (17-11) in the 28th minute and kept a safe distance and the lead until the end of the race. Arabatzis played a great game for the Greek champions (7 goals), while Adam Papadopoulos (6 goals) stood out for Drama.

Third win in a row for Diomedes
Diomedes Argos scored its third consecutive win in the Handball Premier with 30-25 over Panhellenic GS in Kypseli.
The “Wolves” asserted their rhythm from the start and deserved to win, despite the home team’s counterattack in the final minutes of the game.
Diomedis is now in the top four of the league with 7 points, while Panhellenios will remain in the last places with 2 points.

Third consecutive win for Pylaia, which achieved a great double over Aeropos 36-24 in Edessa and climbed into the top 5 of the championship.
