AESH Pylaias is in the round of 16 of the EHF European Cup
AESH Pylaia beat Montenegro 26:22 in the round and moved into the round of 16 of the EHF European Cup.
Historic qualification for AESH Pylaias for the “16” of the EHF European Cup! Giorgos Vakalis’ team turned around a 29:28 defeat against Roudar and defeated the Montenegrin team 26:22 in the second game in the “home of handball”.
Pylaia again overcame big differences today (7-11, 17′, 11-15, 23′, 16-20, 38′) and managed to take the lead 22-20 from 50 minutes with a 6-0 run then to increase the lead and reach the Grand Final.
“It’s the club’s biggest day, we’re delighted with this qualification. “We excluded a team from a traditional school and that makes our achievement even greater. We continue to work hard on the pitch.” commented Pylaia technician Giorgos Vakalis.
