Vityaz and BC PARI presented an unusual retro uniform for the new KHL season

Vityaz near Moscow and the new official partner of the Moscow Region hockey club, the betting company PARI, have prepared an unusual retro uniform for team players and fans at the start of the 2022/23 KHL season.

Vityaz changed its registration several times, playing home matches in different cities of the Moscow region. The new retroform, as conceived by the partners, should help the club to have another successful season outside of their native Podolsk.

Several symbolic elements are applied to the team’s jerseys. The central part will be occupied by the redesign of the original emblem of the Vityaz in 1996. An image of chain mail will appear on the sleeves, and references to Chekhov and Podolsk will appear on the shoulders (the team was based in these cities earlier). Game numbers are made in a special font.

Recall that due to problems with the arena in his native Podolsk, Vityaz holds home matches in the city of Balashikha in the new season. Nevertheless, in the history of the “Vityaz” there was already a successful season associated with the move.

In 1999, in connection with the construction of the arena in Podolsk, Vityaz played home matches at the Wings of the Soviets palace in Setun. Following the results of the 1999/2000 season, the team entered the elite division of Russian hockey of those years – the Super League.

The club has been playing in the KHL since the formation of the league in 2008. Vityaz has three participations in the KHL playoffs.

Hockey player Krizhinki was hospitalized after the match after losing consciousness

A terrible situation occurred in the middle of the first period of the ongoing Ukrainian hockey championship match between Sokol and Krizhinka Capitals at the ATEK ice rink in Kiev. Krizhinka’s 27-year-old forward Vasily-Yuriy Kachan lost consciousness while on the bench.

Sokol doctor Elizaveta Khimich was the first to help the hockey player, who started this season in Sokol and was a two-time Ukrainian champion with this team. He was later joined by representatives of the ambulance team. At these moments, players, coaches and team staff looked very scared. Yuri’s beloved Elizaveta Ustinina, herself a former hockey player, watched the events in tears.

As a result, Kachan was conscious when he was carried on a stretcher to the ambulance.

We wish Yuri a speedy recovery.

After the first period, Sokol closed the match ahead 1-0. Denis Zherebko scored the only goal.
