Traktor defeated Avtomobilist on home ice in the Fonbet match of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) championship.
The meeting in Chelyabinsk ended in overtime with a score of 4:3 in favor of the hosts. Striker Anton Burdasov scored a double for Traktor, Petr Khokhryakov and Teemu Pulkkinen scored one more goal each. Brooks Maysek, Stefan Da Costa and Curtis Volk distinguished themselves in Avtomobilist.
In another match of the day Metallurg Magnitogorsk lost to Severstal, the game ended with the same score in overtime. Cherepovets team bounced back with 0:3. The winning goal for Severstal belongs to Alexander Petunin, the forward scored 3 (2+1) points in this meeting.
In the next match, Metallurg will host Amur, Severstal will play CSKA in Cherepovets.
