CSKA Moscow defeated Lokomotiv Yaroslavl on the road in the KHL regular season match, Avangard extended its losing streak at the start of the season to four, losing away to Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg.

The match in Yaroslavl ended with the score 3:2 (2:0, 1:1, 0:1) in favor of the army team. Vitaly Abramov, Takhir Mingachev and Maxim Sorkin scored against CSKA, Artem Ilyenko and Alexander Polunin scored against Lokomotiv.

In Yekaterinburg, the hosts of the ice won with a score of 4:2 (2:1, 1:0, 1:1). Sergei Shirokov scored a brace for Avtomobilist, Oleg Li and Anatoly Golyshev each scored a goal. At Avangard, Vladimir Tkachev and Vladimir Bryukvin became the authors of the pucks.

In the next match, Fonbet of the KHL Championship CSKA, which interrupted a series of two defeats, will host Vityaz near Moscow on September 14, on the same day Lokomotiv will play at home with SKA St. Petersburg, Avtomobilist will host Spartak Moscow, Avangard will try score the first points of the season in a match with Sibir Novosibirsk.
