“Inviting Hartley to Avangard probably has some meaning or subtext” – Plushev

Honored coach of Russia Vladimir Plyushchev, in an interview with the Championship, suggested that there was some meaning or implication in the return of Bob Hartley to Avangard as a consultant to the club’s hockey academy.
Earlier in September, Avangard announced that Hartley had arrived in Omsk and would work as a consultant at the club’s academy.

The third day of competitions at the Junior World Hockey Championship held in the USA has ended.
After defeating Denmark with a score of 6:2, the Finnish team also defeated Latvia with a score of 8:0. The Latvian team, which was only defeated by Canada in extra time, did not have the strength to cope with another strong opponent.
The Finnish team outscored its opponent with 41:7 (an anti-record at the World Championships – six shots per game).
