Avangard won for the first time after six defeats at the start of the KHL season

Omsk “Avangard” celebrated the first victory in the current draw of the Fonbet Championship of the KHL.
On Friday, the Omsk team defeated Kazakhstan’s “Barys” away with a score of 5:2. Alexander Dergachev, Sergei Tolchinsky, Reed Boucher, Semyon Chistyakov and Alexei Bereglazov scored goals for Avangard. The hosts scored Egor Petukhov and Linden Way.
Thus, Avangard won the first victory in the current season of the KHL after six defeats in a row and with three points is in 10th place in the Eastern Conference table. Barys is in eighth position with five points in seven games.
In the next match, Avangard will play Traktor Chelyabinsk away on September 19. Barys will host Sibir on 18 September.
