Barys from Astana beat Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg in the Fonbet match of the KHL Championship.
The meeting, held on Tuesday in Astana, ended with the victory of the ice hosts with a score of 2:0. Washers already in the first period were thrown by Anthony Louis and Arkady Shestakov.
“Barys” interrupted Avtomobilist’s winning streak, which lasted four matches.
In another meeting of the day, Sibir achieved a strong-willed victory in the home match with Neftekhimik – 3:2.
In the next match, Sibir will host Avtomobilist on September 22, while Neftekhimik will face Traktor a day later on home ice. Barys will play Severstal on September 24.
