Russian hockey player will continue his career in the New York Islanders

Russian striker Nikita Soshnikov moved to the New York Islanders NHL club, according to website leagues.
28-year-old Soshnikov signed a one-year agreement.
Last season, the striker played for CSKA and Avangard and scored 16 (4+12) points in 33 games of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) regular season. In the 2022 Gagarin Cup, Soshnikov played 13 matches for the Omsk team and earned 8 (5+3) points.
The hockey player previously played in the NHL for the Toronto Maple Leafs and the St. Louis Blues.
