Messi ahead of Ronaldo in the list of favorite athletes among KHL players
Paris Saint-Germain football player Lionel Messi topped the list of favorite athletes from another sport according to the players of the Continental Hockey League (KHL), the press service of the organization reports.
The Argentine striker was chosen as their favorite athlete by 79 players (12.7% of the total). In second place is the Portuguese striker “Manchester United” Cristiano Ronaldo (76, 12.2%), closed the top three former world number one Swiss Roger Federer (42, 6.7%), who recently announced his retirement. The fourth was the Spanish tennis player, winner of 22 Grand Slam tournaments Rafael Nadal (18, 2.9%).
The survey, which was conducted last season, was attended by 620 players.
