Liga Stavok and FHR signed a memorandum on the extension of cooperation
On September 21, the Hockey Museum hosted the ceremony of signing a memorandum on the continuation of cooperation between the Liga Stavok Betting Company and the Russian Ice Hockey Federation. It was held as part of a gala evening dedicated to the anniversary of the 1972 Super Series.
The ceremony was attended by Liga Stavok President Yury Krasovsky, First Vice President of Liga Stavok, founder of the Constellation of Good Foundation Olga Zhuravskaya, FHR President Vladislav Tretyak, and FHR First Vice President Roman Rotenberg.
BC Liga Stavok has been an official partner of the FHR since 2017.
Yuri Krasovskypresident of BC “Liga Stavok”:
– Before the ceremony, we met with the participants of the Super Series, emotions are overwhelmed. Our childhood is hockey. The great events of 1972 will always be in my memory. The courage and courage with which Soviet hockey players took to the ice against Canadian professionals were also passed on to us, millions of ordinary people in the country. Every generation has its heroes. In our generation, hockey players were such heroes – great athletes, great winners.
The Super Series gave rise to the love for hockey that is now in Russia. And we must support the heroes of 1972. In honor of the anniversary, Liga Stavki will pay 300 thousand rubles to all participants of the Super Series and the families of those hockey players who have already left us.
For Russia, hockey is more important than football, and it is a great honor for us to cooperate with the FHR. We are happy to extend the contract, we sincerely help hockey and hockey players. FHR is the most progressive and modern sports federation in our country. Energy, efficiency, desire to work for the benefit of hockey are the hallmarks of the leadership of the FHR.
We are glad to be in the hockey family: both in the years of victories and in difficult times. The Federation takes care of the younger generation, of those athletes who will replace the current stars and leaders. And in this work we are together with FHR. We finance and will continue to finance children’s hockey. Our slogan is “Together to win.” We will grow talented guys, and we will wait for the big victories of domestic hockey!
Vladislav TretiakPresident of the FHR:
– Hockey is a team game. To win, you need strong reliable partners. This is also true for the development of hockey. We are happy that we have such a great partner as Liga Stavov. These are top-level professionals, we have been cooperating for many years. The help of the “League of Stakes” in the development of domestic hockey is invaluable. Our joint projects are diverse – the company loves hockey and participates in many events. This is also the Hockey Heroes award, which celebrates the merits of the best players in our team. And the development of new areas, such as 3v3 hockey tournaments. And helping children, including in the construction of ice rinks. Yuri Vasilyevich and I were in Ulyanovsk and saw the happy eyes of the boys who received a stunning new hockey box. At the same time, work on the construction of boxes is carried out in various regions.
And, of course, the Constellation of Kindness Foundation is also an excellent partner and valuable member of our hockey team, glad to cooperate with us. The signing of a new memorandum is a big event. We continue to work for the benefit of domestic hockey together with the League of Stakes and the Constellation of Kindness.
Olga ZhuravskayaFirst Vice-President of the Liga Stavok BC, founder of the Constellation of Kindness CF:
— For us, FHR is not just a partner. These are native people from a large hockey family. It’s good that FHR supports the social projects of the League of Stakes and the Constellation of Good Foundation. Starting this season, the Federation will be the official partner of the League of Goodness – this is targeted support for athletes of all generations, from children and youth to veterans.
Together with the FHR, we have almost completed the construction of a hockey rink in an orphanage in the Sverdlovsk region. And we will build even more of these boxes in children’s institutions in the regions of Russia. And also to develop other large-scale social projects throughout the country.
Roman RotenbergFHR First Vice President:
— Our cooperation with Liga Stavov began in 2018, right before the Olympics. And the gold of the Games was the first victorious experience of our joint work. It intensifies in all directions. Our partners do a lot for hockey, for children. We have many new projects, we promote and popularize our sport among young people, among a new audience, together we hold 3v3 hockey tournaments, we are looking for other innovative, breakthrough areas. We are a team, we are a big family, we are always together and we will win! Thank you so much League of Legends.
And on the days of the anniversary of the Super Series, one of our joint projects comes to mind. Channel One Cup match in St. Petersburg outdoors. A record audience of 72,000 spectators gathered at the Gazprom Arena. We thought that such an arena would be very useful to us in 1972. Then everyone would have enough tickets for the matches against Canada, and with the support of tens of thousands of fans, the USSR national team would definitely win!
