The former head coach of the Russian national hockey team Vladimir Plushev believes that the Russian Minnesota striker Kirill Kaprizov is doing well and that he can go down in NHL history.

– Kaprizov is a young player, he has his whole career ahead of him. He can go down in any NHL history. He does everything wisely and successfully. He left on time when he matured as a player, so today he shows mature and good hockey. And the team that bought him, I think, does not regret it at all, because without him it was a slightly different game. But with him … he really paints the game. So everything is ahead of him,” Plushev said in an interview with life.ru.

On the eve of the game of the NHL regular season against the Seattle Kraken (6:3), Kaprizov scored a goal and made three effective passes. Kirill became the first player in Minnesota history to score 100 points in a season.

Kaprizov is the seventh player from Russia to score 100 points in an NHL season.

In the 2021/22 season, the Russian has 101 (45 goals and 56 assists) points.
