The suspect in the murder of a hockey player in the center of Moscow was arrested for two months

Entrepreneur Armen Kuyumdzhi, who killed hockey player Roman Didur in the center of Moscow, was taken into custody for a period of two months by a court decision, according to the official Telegram channel of the capital’s prosecutor’s office.
According to the source, the incident occurred on April 24 near a cafe located on Nikoloyamskaya Street. There was a conflict between two previously unfamiliar men, during which the accused stabbed the 23-year-old victim with a knife in the chest area. The young man died at the scene from his wound.
Kuyumdzhi was charged under Part 1 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Murder”. The course of the investigation of the criminal case is controlled by the Moscow prosecutor’s office.
Didur played for the Moscow youth teams “Constellation” and “Penguins”.
