“Scoundrels. Do they really think that nasty decisions will somehow help? Kozhevnikov on postponing the 2023 Ice Hockey World Cup from Russia

Two-time Olympic champion Alexander Kozhevnikov called the leaders of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) scoundrels who make decisions against Russian athletes.

On Tuesday, the IIHF announced the postponement of the 2023 World Cup from Russia. The tournament was to be held in St. Petersburg.

– I was not surprised to learn about the decision of the IIHF. It was expected, — quotes the words of Kozhevnikov “Match TV”. – Scoundrels. And everyone is doing it wrong. The IIHF does not have sports in the first place, but political games and the desire to please our opponents. Lick America’s ass! They don’t care about the tournament. Do they really think that all these nasty decisions against our athletes will somehow help?

– Isn’t it surprising that our team has not yet been suspended from participating in the 2023 World Cup?

“Wait, it will come to this. So far, they are silent, but after all, we have already been removed from this year’s World Cup. Everything depends on our guys in Ukraine. As soon as everything is over, everyone will calm down, and Russia will immediately be restored everywhere.

Hockey player Krizhinki was hospitalized after the match after losing consciousness

A terrible situation occurred in the middle of the first period of the ongoing Ukrainian hockey championship match between Sokol and Krizhinka Capitals at the ATEK ice rink in Kiev. Krizhinka’s 27-year-old forward Vasily-Yuriy Kachan lost consciousness while on the bench.

Sokol doctor Elizaveta Khimich was the first to help the hockey player, who started this season in Sokol and was a two-time Ukrainian champion with this team. He was later joined by representatives of the ambulance team. At these moments, players, coaches and team staff looked very scared. Yuri’s beloved Elizaveta Ustinina, herself a former hockey player, watched the events in tears.

As a result, Kachan was conscious when he was carried on a stretcher to the ambulance.

We wish Yuri a speedy recovery.

After the first period, Sokol closed the match ahead 1-0. Denis Zherebko scored the only goal.
