Ukraine national ice hockey team played the last match of the World Championship in Division 1B.
Vadim Shakhraychuk won the team with a score of 8:0. As a result, Ukraine finished in 3rd place with 7 points.
Poland beat Japan 2-0 in the final match and guaranteed them promotion.
