Ice Hockey World Championship U-18. Ukraine came in second
Ukraine’s U-18 hockey team beat Austria 12:4 this afternoon in their final game of the World Championship in Division 1B, continuing to take 1st place in the group and promotion.
To complete this task, it was necessary to wait for the victory of Italy U-18 over Hungary U-18 in normal time. At that time each of the three teams would have scored 12 points, but our team took an advantage when calculating the additional indicators.
However, the Italians lost 0:5, which brought Hungary to the next division. Ukraine finished in 2nd place.
It is worth noting the performance of Ukrainian hockey players: 30 goals in five matches.
