On the day of the club’s 77th anniversary, Spartak defeated Dynamo Minsk in a KHL match

Spartak Moscow defeated Dynamo Minsk in the home match of the Fonbet KHL Championship.

The meeting took place in Moscow and ended with a score of 4:2. Among the winners, Daniil Orlov, Egor Filin, Nikolai Goldobin and Pavel Poryadin distinguished themselves. Andrei Stas and Sam Enas scored goals for the visitors. Goldobin scored 55 (27+28) points in the season and repeated Spartak’s club record in the KHL for scoring in one regular season. Branko Radivojevic (2009/10) and Alexander Khokhlachev (2022/23) scored 55 points each.

The Moscow club, which celebrates its 77th anniversary on Friday, extended its winning streak in the KHL to four matches and returned to first place in the Western Conference with 60 points, beating Dynamo Moscow (60) in additional indicators. Dynamo Minsk (40) is eighth.

In the next match, Spartak will host the Chinese Kunlun Red Star, and Dynamo will go to Vityaz near Moscow. Both meetings will take place on December 24.

In another match on Friday, Chelyabinsk Traktor beat Kunlun away with a score of 5:2. The most productive player was visiting forward Anton Burdasov, who scored two goals and gave an assist.

At the end of game day of the NHL regular season, Carolina defeated the New York Rangers to become the sole leader in the East and sit two points ahead of Detroit with 7 wins in 10 games.

Another day of play in the elite league of the World Junior Hockey Championship has ended.

The USA team beat Slovakia with a score of 6:5, with big problems. The host team of the tournament lost 0:2 and 1:3 but managed to come back and win.

Forward Tomas Hrenko scored a double for the Slovaks, scoring three goals in the last match. And the Americans have a double thank you to James Hagens.

USA and Sweden are leaders in the group with 9 points.

In the other group, Canada beat Denmark 9-1, while forward Gavin McKenna is expected to score a hat-trick and become number 1 in the 2026 draft.

In another match, the Czech Republic defeated Finland 2:1 in overtime.

Junior World Hockey Championship. A landslide victory for one of the favourites.

Another match day has started in the elite league of the U-20 World Junior Hockey Championship.

The Swedish team, one of the favorites, beat Germany with a score of 8:1. This was the team’s third victory after matches against Slovakia and Switzerland.

Swedish leaders Frondell and Björk scored a double each.

Sweden is leading the group with 9 points.

The German team is still scoreless and in last place in the group.
