Goalkeeper Fedotov told how his separation from hockey CSKA happened
Former CSKA goalkeeper Ivan Fedotov told how his contract with the Moscow hockey club was terminated.
In the summer of 2022, Fedotov signed a rookie contract with Philadelphia, but he was called up for military service. Upon completion of his service, the goalkeeper signed a two-year agreement with CSKA Moscow. On March 28, the capital club announced the termination of the contract with the hockey player. The army team retained the sports rights to the goalkeeper in Russia. On March 29, the Flyers announced Fedotov’s transfer.
“We made this decision jointly with the club. We came to this agreement. It is what it is. It was a good time, we won the Gagarin Cup. And there were good years for the club. At the same time, I think that the most interesting things are yet to come. CSKA is waiting for a new round of history. Let’s see how life turns out.
I am grateful for the trust that CSKA has shown me this season. There were certain difficulties, difficult moments – gaming, psychological, physical. And all together. There are a lot of factors. Junior World Hockey Championship. The first participant in the fight for survival has been announced
The matches on the fourth day of the U-20 World Junior Hockey Championship have started.
In a brutal match, Switzerland beat Germany 4-0, sending their opponents into a survival game that will pit the Germans against the last team in Group B.
Germany finished without points and advanced to the knockout stages along with Switzerland, Sweden, the USA and Slovakia, although their final group positions will be determined by subsequent matches.

Storm hockey club announced its decision to suspend participation in the Ukrainian Championship. The Odessa team had not come to the Krizhinka match before.
At the same time, Storm denied that the issue was related to financial problems and expressed distrust of the Ukrainian Hockey Federation.
Statement from HC Storm
“Due to systematic violation of the principles of equality and justice in competitions, Shtor hockey club expressed its distrust in the leadership of the Ukrainian Hockey Federation and decided to suspend its participation in the Ukrainian Championship.”
There was already a situation this season when Krizhinka suspended its participation in the championship due to referee problems.

At the end of game day of the NHL regular season, Carolina defeated the New York Rangers to become the sole leader in the East and sit two points ahead of Detroit with 7 wins in 10 games.
