Russian goaltender Arizona Coyotes Ivan Prosvetov said he wants to stay in the NHL and has no plans to return to the KHL, and also talked about negotiations with CSKA Moscow.
– I do not plan to return to the Continental Hockey League in the coming years. My goal is the NHL. You never know what will happen, especially in this situation. I hope that our players will continue to receive visas and contracts. From this, as I understand it, a lot also depends. As far as I know, everything is fine with this now.
I belong to Arizona until I’m 27. I have no idea how long I will sign a contract with her now, but I’m waiting for it. I know that my agent spoke to the club. There were also negotiations with CSKA, but I decided to stay in the NHL,” Prosvetov told Metaratings.ru.
The Russian has been playing in the United States since 2016, at the 2018 NHL Entry Draft he was selected by Arizona under the 114th number.
