The Boston Bruins defeated the Carolina Hurricanes 4-2 in Game 3 of the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
The winners included Charlie Coyle, Brad Marchand, David Pastrnak and Taylor Hall.
Guests scored Vincent Trochek and Jacob Slavin. Carolina goaltender Pyotr Kochetkov saved 24 shots. Andrey Svechnikov did not score with effective actions.
Boston closed the gap in a series in which the Carolinas lead 2-1. The next match of the series is scheduled for May 8.
