The beautiful love story of a hockey player and a singer ended in a nightmare. Ivan blocked his own daughter from leaving Russia.
Ivan Telegin and Pelageya were one of the nicest couples in Russian sports and show business. The lovers did not hide their feelings and looked absolutely happy, but at some point the relationship began to collapse. The result was divorce and litigation. And now the singer has told a story about how her ex-husband, instead of congratulating her daughter on finishing first grade, blocked her from traveling abroad. And she called her ex-husband “mentally disabled.”
How it all began
The athlete and the artist met in 2015, accidentally finding themselves in the same company at a large table. Both later assured that it was love at first sight. The feelings flared up instantly and seemed not going to fade away. It’s funny that Ivan didn’t really know who Pelageya was at the time, although the girl was very popular in Russia. But, apparently, Telegin was too involved in hockey and did not follow affairs in show business.
By that time, the athlete was in a civil marriage with dancer Evgenia Nour. Moreover, they were soon to become parents. However, this did not bother Telegin, and he began an affair with Pelageya, hiding his new relationship for a long time. The fact that the singer was five years older than him did not stop Ivan at all. As a result, the hockey player left for a new girl, and Evgenia gave birth alone.
Pelageya herself also did not initially strive to bring the connection with Telegin into the public sphere. But soon she began to be noticed at matches of CSKA and the Russian national team. Everything fell into place, so at a certain point it became simply pointless to hide the affair. Just six months after they met, the lovers went to the registry office and registered their relationship. The wedding turned out to be modest, for a limited circle of people, which included, for example, Alexander Ovechkin with Anastasia Shubskaya and Lera Kudryavtseva with Igor Makarov. And Pelageya herself sang at the celebrations.
End of love?
In 2017, the couple had a daughter, Taisiya, after which the couple decided to celebrate this event in the Maldives. There they held another wedding ceremony and once again swore love to each other. Who would have thought then that everything would turn into a disaster? Just two years later, the media learned that Ivan and Pelageya were living separately, and in 2020 they officially divorced.
The singer assured that she maintained a normal relationship with her ex-husband and urged her to continue to support and worry about Russian hockey. Soon Telegin began to be often noticed in the company of Maria Gonchar, the daughter of a millionaire and a real party girl. There were rumors that it was she who caused the hockey player’s breakup with Pelageya. The athlete and actress did not have a peaceful divorce. The former spouses tried to divide the property, but it was difficult. The trials lasted for years, and Pelageya eventually managed to achieve good alimony. Ivan was ordered to return to his ex-wife a large amount of money, which he allegedly secretly took from the family budget.
Apparently, the conflict is still very far from over. On Sunday, Pelageya published a post on social networks in which she told a shocking story. She was supposed to fly to Turkey on vacation with her daughter Taisiya, who had just finished first grade. The trip was paid for by their grandmother, who thus wanted to encourage her granddaughter for the school year. Quite a normal story.
“Daddy’s Toothless Cruelty”
However, everything went wrong when they arrived at the airport and found out that Telegin had imposed a ban on his daughter’s travel outside Russia. Moreover, Pelageya claims that Ivan has not seen the child for more than a year, although he regularly visits Moscow. The footage shows that Taisiya is literally crying because of her ruined vacation.
– Papa Vanya remembered! And Tasya’s daughter received congratulations from him exactly one day after finishing first grade! On May 26, right at Sheremetyevo airport, a customs officer read this congratulation to her. This was a travel ban for Tasi. Mentally disabled people who, when they lose in court, become enraged with impotent anger, punishing their own little daughters for this. But we believe that there are few of them. Hardly ever. And we, normal people, will not let you be offended. So, after finishing her first grade, she was faced with a cruel reality, with the toothless cruelty of “daddy,” Pelageya wrote.
As a result, after being searched at the airport, Taisiya was simply removed from the flight. According to my mother, they had been waiting for the opportunity to go on a trip for a long time, chose a hotel and dreamed of having a good time. But it all ended in a nightmare.
