Two-time Olympic basketball champion Charles Barkley used an obscene word live while describing the game of the Russian goalkeeper of the Florida National Hockey League club Sergei Bobrovsky.
Barkley commented live on Sportsnet during the second game of the Stanley Cup final series between Florida and Edmonton (4:1).
— Bobrovsky plays simply *****. Oh sorry. He plays just awesome. “I apologize to all the kids watching TV,” Barkley laughed.
The score in the best-of-five series was 2-0 in Florida’s favor. The next match will take place in Edmonton on June 13.
Barkley was recognized as the NBA’s most valuable player in 1993, was included in the all-season teams 10 times, and was an 11-time participant in the All-Star game.
