Former head coach of the Russian national team Vladimir Plyushchev called the chances of Florida and Edmonton equal in the decisive match of the Stanley Cup final series.
The Panthers lost 5-1 to the Oilers in Game 6. Edmonton won its third straight game, tying the series at 3-3. The Canadian club became the first team since 1945 to come back from a 3-0 deficit in the NHL playoff finals.
— In the last match of any cup event, it is very difficult to call anyone a favorite, a thankless task. Because this is the last match of the season, which decides everything for both teams, so various factors can come into play here. These finalists have equal chances, — the words of Plyushchev are quoted by “Championship”.
The decisive match will take place on the Florida court on June 24.
