Fans with Russian flag in stands celebrate Florida’s victory in Stanley Cup final

A Russian flag was spotted in the stands during the decisive National Hockey League (NHL) playoff match between the Florida Panthers and the Edmonton Oilers.
On Monday, Florida beat Edmonton 2-1 in Sunrise in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final to win the trophy for the first time in history. The game was broadcast with fans carrying the tricolor, whom Russian Panthers goalie Sergei Bobrovsky thanked after the trophy presentation ceremony.
In addition to Bobrovsky, Russians Vladimir Tarasenko and Dmitry Kulikov became NHL playoff winners as part of the Panthers.
