Hockey agent Dan Milstein, who represents Russian defenseman Mikhail Sergachev, admitted that he was upset by the trade of his client from Tampa Bay to Utah.

Sergachev played for the Lightning since 2017. As part of Tampa, the Russian became a two-time Stanley Cup winner.

— 15 minutes before the start of the second day of the draft, Tampa Bay general manager Julien BriseBois texted me and asked for a meeting. I went down to the tables where the procedure itself was taking place. We stepped aside, after which he told me that he had traded Misha to Utah.

I called Misha and told him about the decision. He, by the way, picked up the phone right away. Then I handed the phone to Julien. I was more upset, because I am very worried about the guys and their families. Misha took this information very positively, – Milstein is quoted as saying by “Championship”.

Last season, Sergachev played 34 games in the NHL regular championship, scoring 19 points (2+17). In the playoffs, Mikhail took part in two games, scoring an assist.
