“From a Legend to a Legend.” Ovechkin Gave Khabib an Autographed Jersey

Russian Washington Capitals forward Alexander Ovechkin gave his jersey with his game number to former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.
The former UFC fighter posted a corresponding photo on social media and captioned it: “From a legend to a legend.”
Ovechkin is 38 years old and has been playing for Washington since 2005. The Russian forward is second on the list of the best snipers in NHL history with 853 goals scored, behind only Canadian Wayne Gretzky (894). Nurmagomedov, 35, has had 29 fights in single combat and won 29 of them.
