On Thursday, the NHL officially terminated Carolina’s contract with Evgeny Kuznetsov, who was supposed to receive $7.8 million for the 2024-25 season, with the salary being split equally between the Hurricanes and Washington. At the moment, the 32-year-old forward is officially an unrestricted free agent. According to Match TV, he will sign a four-year contract with SKA.

— We have been working with Evgeny Kuznetsov for several years now. Now it is time to watch his magic in person.

The Chelyabinsk wizard will soon sign a contract in the KHL, and we will delight you with highlights featuring him on a regular basis, Babaev wrote on his Telegram channel.
