Hockey “Match of the Year” between KHL and NHL stars ends in a draw
The hockey “Match of the Year” between teams made up of Russian KHL and NHL stars did not reveal a winner.
The match took place in Moscow at the CSKA Arena and ended with a score of 8:8.
The NHL stars’ scoring was opened in the first minute by Washington forward Alexander Ovechkin, with Dmitry Voronkov (two goals), Andrei Svechnikov, Evgeni Malkin, Artemy Panarin, Vasily Podkolzin and Pavel Buchnevich also scoring.
The KHL team’s scorers were Anton Burdasov, Nikolai Goldobin (two goals), Anatoly Golyshev, Vladimir Tkachev, Pavel Poryadin (two goals) and Sergei Tolchinsky.
The Match of the Year was broadcast live by the Match TV channel, as well as the websites matchtv.ru and sportbox.ru.
