On July 20, a charity match between the Russian NHL and KHL star teams took place at the CSKA Arena in Moscow. The partners of the event were the Pari i Pobedai and DobroFON charity foundations.

The meeting of Russian NHL and KHL stars was held to a full house — 12,123 seats were occupied. The game was broadcast live by the Match TV channel. The match was attended by the ambassador of the Pari i Pobedai foundation Mikhail Sergachev, friend of the DobroFON charity program Alexander Ovechkin, as well as Evgeni Malkin, Artemy Panarin, Andrei Svechnikov, Dmitry Orlov, Sergei Bobrovsky, Alexander Radulov, Ilya Kovalchuk, Sergei Tolchinsky, Vadim Shipachev and other stars of Russian hockey.

Despite the friendly atmosphere, the meeting of the KHL and NHL stars was an uncompromising struggle and ended with a score of 8:8. The author of the first goal was Alexander Ovechkin, and the most goals – three – were scored by Spartak forward Nikolai Goldobin, who played for the KHL all-star team.

The main result is a charity check for 10 million rubles. These funds will be used for the rehabilitation and support of children and adults with cerebral palsy and other motor disorders in different regions of the country. Reports on the expenditure of funds will be published on the website match-goda.ru.

This match was the first example of cooperation between bookmakers within the framework of a charity project aimed at helping people with disabilities.
