Metallurg terminates contract with Gagarin Cup winner Maxim Karpov

The Metallurg hockey club and forward Maxim Karpov have terminated their contract, the press service of the team from Magnitogorsk reports.
The agreement is terminated by mutual agreement of the parties.
Karpov joined Metallurg in the 2020 offseason. Over four full seasons with the team, he has 290 games and 143 (44+99) points. Last season, Karpov won the Gagarin Cup with the team from Magnitogorsk.
Karpov also played for Dynamo and SKA in the KHL. In total, the forward played in 795 matches in the league, scoring 355 (138+217) points with an overall usefulness rating of +127.
