Forward Anton Burdasov moved to Traktor, according to the website of the Chelyabinsk hockey club.
The agreement with the 30-year-old striker is for three years. Last season, the striker played for SKA St. Petersburg, played 57 games in the regular season and playoffs of the KHL, scored 52 points (26 + 26).
— It’s no secret that Anton Burdasov was one of the most valuable hockey players on the market this off-season, and we are glad that Traktor managed to win this fight. His return is a landmark moment for the club, and we have high hopes for Anton. Burdasov will be one of the leaders of our team and is able to add resources to the team to perform maximum tasks.
In recent years, he was the captain of SKA, where he scored more than 50 goals in two seasons – these are facts that speak about him better than any words. At the same time, Anton still has potential that will allow him to play even stronger, he will definitely help Traktor both in the majority and as a leading attacking option in the top 6 of the attack, – said Ivan Savin, general director of the club.
Burdasov is a graduate of Chelyabinsk hockey, he began his professional career at Traktor, with which he won the Continental Cup and bronze medals of the KHL championship (2012). As part of SKA, he won the Gagarin Cup in 2015, he also played for Avangard Omsk, CSKA Moscow and Salavat Yulaev Ufa. In total, he played 630 games in the KHL, earned 319 points (166 + 153).
Traktor also announced the conclusion of a new one-year contract with defender Igor Isaev.
