Czech forward Tomas Jurcho explained why he decided not to stay with Omsk’s Avangard and move to China’s Kunlun Red Star.
“I wanted to have a more important role, get more minutes, be a player for the majority, as it used to be in Kunlun. This is an important reason why I decided to come back here,” “Championship” quotes Yurcho as saying.
In the 2023/24 season, Yurcho played for Omsk Avangard, where he played 33 matches and scored 21 points (11 goals and 10 assists).
Previously, the hockey player played for Kunlun in the 2022/23 season; in the KHL, he also defended the colors of Kazakhstan’s Barys.
