Avangard forward Alexander Filatyev said that he is completely satisfied with his work under the leadership of head coach Sergei Zvyagin.
Filatyev made his KHL debut last season as part of the Omsk club. Zvyagin took over the team in the spring.
— I work well under the leadership of Sergei Evgenievich Zvyagin. He communicates with us, the young guys, every day. We watch and analyze the games, they point out our mistakes. I think it’s good. I like it. In the Blinov Cup game with Lokomotiv, for example, I needed to take more correct actions at the end of periods. When there are five minutes left until the end of the game or period, you need to make fewer mistakes. I am physically ready for the season. I am gaining confidence so that I can play more with the puck and bring more help to the team with effective actions, — RB Sport quotes Filatyev as saying.
The new season of the FONBET KHL Championship starts on September 3.
