Spartak beat Dynamo in shootout at Moscow Mayor’s Cup
Spartak won a shootout victory over Moscow Dynamo in the Moscow Mayor’s Cup match.
The regular time and overtime ended with a score of 3:3. Cedric Paquette scored twice for the “white-blues”, and Artem Mikheyev scored another goal. Daniil Ivanov, Shane Prince and Pavel Poryadin scored for the “red-whites”. Spartak players were more accurate in the shootout – 2:1.
The Mayor’s Cup is being held at the Megasport Sports Palace from August 29 to September 1. Spartak, Dynamo (Moscow), CSKA, Vityaz, and for the first time in history, Torpedo and Avtomobilist are taking part in the tournament.
The new season of the FONBET KHL Championship starts on September 3.
