CSKA President Says KHL Does Not Plan to Raise Salary Cap Next Season

Moscow CSKA President Igor Esmantovich stated that the Continental Hockey League (KHL) does not plan to raise the salary cap next season.

The league’s board of directors met in Moscow on Wednesday. The 2024/25 KHL regular championship started on September 3.

“My position has not changed, now is not the time to raise the ceiling. Within the framework of the current strategy, the ceiling will not be raised next season,” Match TV quotes Esmantovich as saying.

The salary cap in the KHL is 900 million rubles.
