SKA goalie Pleshkov made a mistake in the episode with the missed puck from Kravtsov, Artyukhin believes

Former Russian national team forward Evgeny Artyukhin believes that SKA goalie Artemy Pleshkov made a mistake in the moment when the puck was missed by Traktor forward Vitaly Kravtsov in the FONBET match of the KHL championship.

The meeting in St. Petersburg ended with a score of 3:0 in favor of the Chelyabinsk team. Kravtsov beat the St. Petersburg defender Alexander Nikishin and threw it into the lower right corner, just past the post.

— In the episode with the missed puck from Kravtsov, I would note the uncertain play of goalkeeper Pleshkov. I don’t want to criticize, but he should have caught the puck. He lost the goal a little, skated too far. If he had played according to his position, he would have been able to catch it. The throw was great, no questions. He could have adjusted and caught it, — Artyukhin said on Match TV.

Traktor has 5 points and is in fourth place in the Eastern Conference standings, while SKA, with 3 points, is in 9th place in the West.

In the next match, SKA will host Togliatti’s Lada on September 15, and the Chelyabinsk team will play away against Sochi the day before.
