Kadeikin’s double did not save Traktor from defeat in the KHL match with Salavat Yulaev
Ufa’s Salavat Yulaev won a strong-willed victory over Chelyabinsk’s Traktor in the regular season match of the FONBET KHL Championship.
The meeting in Chelyabinsk ended with a score of 5:3 (0:1, 3:1, 2:1). For Salavat Yulaev, Sheldon Rempal scored two goals, Nathan Todd, Alexander Sharov and Alexander Khmelevsky scored one each. Alexander Kadeikin scored a double for Traktor, and Mikhail Kotlyarevsky also scored. In the sixth minute, Traktor forward Maxim Shabanov missed the penalty.
“Salavat Yulaev” scored 12 points and ranks third in the Eastern Conference standings, “Traktor” (10) is fifth.
The Ufa team will host the Chinese Kunlun Red Star in the next match on October 1, and Traktor will play at home against the Omsk Avangard on Friday.
