Two-time Gagarin Cup winner Sergei Konkov told what Barys needs to do under the leadership of new head coach Vyacheslav Butsaev to get out of the crisis.

On Wednesday, Barys announced the termination of cooperation with David Nemirovsky, who took over the team in the offseason. In the KHL match with Dynamo Moscow (1:3) on Tuesday, Evgeniy Korolev acted as head coach of Barys. On Wednesday, Russian specialist Vyacheslav Butsayev was appointed head coach of the Kazakh team.
