Evgeny Kuznetsov has recovered from injury and will return to the SKA squad for the match with Dynamo Minsk

SKA forward Evgeny Kuznetsov has recovered from injury and will take part in the upcoming FONBET KHL championship match with Dynamo Minsk, head coach of the St. Petersburg team Roman Rotenberg said.

Earlier it was reported that Kuznetsov will miss about two months due to an injury received in the match with Severstal Cherepovets on September 27. On Monday, Rotenberg said that the forward would return to action in the near future. The meeting between SKA and Dynamo Minsk will take place on Thursday in St. Petersburg and will begin at 19:30 (Moscow time).

— Zhenya Kuznetsov returns to the game! As I said, the initial recovery time for Evgeniy Kuznetsov was significantly reduced. Tomorrow he will play against Dynamo Minsk. Such a phenomenally quick return of the striker was made possible thanks to the excellent work of our medical staff, rehabilitation specialists, and nutritionists. I thank all doctors and massage therapists for their work!

The highest level of professionalism was demonstrated by Evgeny Kuznetsov himself, who fulfilled all the doctors’ wishes as clearly as possible, worked diligently in the gym and on the ice and restored his condition in the shortest possible time. We are waiting for Zhenya at Ledovoy on Thursday! — Rotenberg wrote in the Telegram channel.
