According to a new agreement between defender Darren Dietz and CSKA Moscow, the Canadian hockey player, who also has citizenship of Kazakhstan, will earn 65 million rubles for each season as part of CSKA, writes Metaratings.ru.
The contract is for three years and is unilateral, as previously reported by “Match TV”.
Dietz came to the KHL in 2017, becoming a Barys player and eventually gaining the status of captain in the team. Having moved to CSKA during the season ended, he won the Gagarin Cup. In total for the army team this season, he played 28 matches, gaining 6 (2 + 4) performance points.
Metaratings.ru also revealed the details of a new deal between CSKA and striker Sergei Plotnikov. It is noted that the player, who became an unrestricted free agent on April 30, was offered maximum financial conditions and an individual bonus by Avangard, but in the end he decided to stay at CSKA for another two seasons with an annual salary of 70 million rubles.
31-year-old Plotnikov played 65 games last season, including the playoffs, and scored 40 (22+18) points.
