Metallurg beat Sibir and won their third victory in a row in the KHL
Metallurg Magnitogorsk defeated Sibir Novosibirsk in the regular season match of the FONBET KHL Championship.
The meeting in Novosibirsk ended with a score of 4:1 (1:0, 2:1, 1:0) in favor of the guests. For Magnitogorsk, goals were scored by Danil Bashkirov, Scott Wilson, Luke Johnson and Denis Zernov, who hit an empty net. Ilya Morozov scored for the hosts.
Andrei Razin’s team won the third match in a row, scored 27 points and is in fifth place in the Eastern Conference table, “Sibir” under the leadership of Vadim Epanchintsev is in eighth place with 22 points.
In the next match on November 13, Metallurg will host Chelyabinsk Traktor, and Sibir will play with St. Petersburg SKA on home ice on the same day.
