Boston lost to Vancouver in a home match of the NHL regular season.

The meeting ended with a score of 2:0 (0:0, 1:0, 1:0). Jake DeBrusk and Conor Garland scored goals.

This is the Bruins’ first loss since the head coaching change. Season starter Jim Montgomery was fired on November 19 after a 5-1 loss to Columbus. Interim head coach Joe Sacco has won two straight.

Vancouver is fifth in the Western Conference standings with 25 points, Boston (23) is ninth in the East.
