Kaprizov is ahead of Ovechkin in the number of goals in the current NHL season
Minnesota’s Russian forward Kirill Kaprizov scored his 16th goal this season in the NHL match against Vancouver.
Minnesota won in overtime, 3:2.
In terms of the number of goals this season, Kaprizov is ahead of Washington forward Alexander Ovechkin (15).
Kaprizov is currently one of the NHL leaders in points scored (39, 16+23), the same number as Martin Necas of Carolina (13+26) and Nathan MacKinnon of Colorado (9+30).
