General Director of Traktor: “The question of a new arena in Chelyabinsk is not yet raised”
Traktor General Director Ivan Savin spoke about the excitement due to the purchase of tickets to the team’s matches.
“Arena Traktor” named after Valery Belousov will accommodate 7,500 people. The Chelyabinsk team leads the Eastern Conference standings with 48 points.
— How does Traktor solve the problem of a shortage of tickets for fans and fight resellers?
“We are constantly working to improve our ticket program, and this is to make it more accessible for our fans to purchase tickets. In this situation, we are extremely vigilant in creating the possibility of direct purchase on the site. But, nevertheless, there is no escape from this excitement. After we have sold a large number of season tickets, we have a limited number of tickets available for sale. And the demand is simply tens of times greater than what we can practically sell.
— Do the small size of the arena also matter?
– Certainly. If you ask if we would like to see a new arena, then I will say that we are just dreaming. Of course, it would be cool if there was a new arena in Chelyabinsk. But now, as far as I understand, the question of a new arena is not on the table, and this is not the time to come up with a construction initiative. Everything has its time. If Traktor performs successfully this year, it will serve as a small brick to resolve this issue,” RB Sport quotes Savin as saying.
