Russian Kaprizov is included in the top five Minnesota players of the first quarter of the 21st century
Minnesota’s Russian forward Kirill Kaprizov is included in the club’s first symbolic top five players from 2000 to 2025 according to the NHL.
The official website of the league as part of the project highlights the best players of each team during the first quarter of the 21st century. In Tuesday’s Wild article, Kaprizov shares the team’s top spot with forwards Marian Gaborik and Mikko Koivu, defensemen Jonas Brodin and Jared Spurgeon, and goaltender Niklas Backstrom.
Kaprizov has been playing for Minnesota since 2020, with a total of 331 NHL games, including the playoffs, and 392 points (193+199).
This season, the 27-year-old Russian has earned 50 points (23+27) in 34 games, leading the team in goals, assists and points.
